February 21, 2008, The Boston Globe: The Moving Wall, a half- size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be on exhibit in Middleborough from May 28 through June 1, 2008, according to town Veterans Services officer Paul Provencher. Donations, in any amount, to cover the costs of hosting the Moving Wall are being sought, Provencher said. Donations of $100 or more will be listed in the event program book and donors will receive a Moving Wall memorial dog tag. The Cranberry Country Moving Wall Committee has been working toward hosting this event for two years. Committee members represent Bridgewater, Carver, Freetown, Halifax, Lakeville, Middleborough, Onset, Raynham, Rochester and Wareham.
