A person posing as a college-age “grandchild” has called at least two seniors in town asking for money because the caller was in an accident in Canada. Detective Joseph M. Perkins said that for the second time in a week a senior in town has been called by someone masquerading as a college-age grandchild vacationing in Canada who needs money because the caller just got in a crash.
