This is going to sound harsh, but there’s no nice way to say it: The town web site is an absolute disgrace and a statewide embarrassment. Why town leadership and the IT department has allowed this sorry excuse for a web site to persist is a mystery. It even has a nickname — the PTWS (Pathetic Town Web Site). Compare the Middleboro town web site to any other town site in the state. I defy you to find one that is worse — or even close. It is a Yugo on the information superhighway — and that’s an insult to Yugos. To the average person, web sites are mysterious, difficult, and confusing.
