Cirelli Foods of Middleboro, New England’s largest family-owned broad line foodservice distributor,  has acquired Savage & Company of Framingham, an independent baking distributor. Originally founded in Brockton more than 60 years ago, Cirelli Foods serves more than 4,000 customers in the Northeast, including independent restaurants, multi-chain units, schools, healthcare facilities, non-profits, and other foodservice operations. Locally owned and operated for more than 80 years, Savage & Company is noted in the New England professional baking community as a purveyor of fine baking ingredients.
