The North Middleboro Fourth of July Parade will be celebrating a landmark this year when they hold their 80th annual parade. The parade will kick off from the Pratt Free School on the Titicut Green at 10 a.m. on July 4, 2009.Parade committee member Roy Holmes says the poor economy may draw a larger crowd. Sometimes when the economy is bad people go to parades because they stay home and it’s free. The Honorary Grand Marshall is Harry Pickering, who retired this year as the town’s park superintendent.
