Teachers have agreed to $330,000 in concessions, forgoing pay hikes in the first half of the next school year. The “overwhelming” vote on Wednesday is a modification to the third and final year of the teachers current contract, said Lynne Sullivan, union chief. In addition, teachers voted to take unpaid furlough days.
