Skeptical that Gov. Deval Patrick will be able to follow through with his promise to level-fund local aid next fiscal year, Town Manager Charles J. Cristello is sticking with his original budget that projects a 4 percent, or $800,000, cut in local aid. Cristello met Monday with selectmen to review the town budget for fiscal year 2011, which begins July 1. The board voted to approve the $12.7 million town budget presented by Cristello. That figure does not include the School Department budget, which is projected at $27 million.
