School Superintendent Robert M. Sullivan, 58, will formally announce his plans to retire at next week’s School Committee meeting. His retirement will be effective June 30, he said. Sullivan, who was appointed superintendent in 2004, began his employment with the system in 1980 as a pool supervisor at the elementary school.
