There is just one contest shaping up, and at least one incumbent other than Chairman of Selectmen Patrick Rogers stepping down. At this writing, the following brave souls are running:
- Roger A. Clark (Housing Authority)
- Nancy J. Thomas (Housing Authority)
- Thomas E. Murphy (Gas and Electric Commission)
- Michael Solimini (Gas and Electric Commission)
- Steven Spataro (Board of Selectmen)
- Al Rullo (Board of Selectmen)
- Frederick E. Eayrs (Board of Selectmen)
- Allin J. Frawley (Board of Selectmen)
- Anthony Freitas (Assessors)
- Charles B. Shea (Assessors)
- Sara Adams Mycock Cederholm (School Committee)
- Michael A. Pilla Jr. (School Committee)
- William J. Ferdinand (Park Commission)
- Diane C. Stewart (Finance Committee)
- Donald E. Swarce (Planning Board)
- Leilani Dalpe (Planning Board)
The main attraction for voters will be the $2.4 million Proposition 2 1/2 override being proposed by the School Committee.
