Commuter rail riders between Braintree and Middleboro should plan on longer trips this weekend because of track repair work. The Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Co., which operates the service for the MBTA, will be repairing the tracks between the Braintree and Holbrook. The track bed in this area was washed out by the recent flooding, and temporary repairs are in place.  Buses will take riders between the Randolph/Holbrook and Braintree stations, and delays of between 20 and 30 minutes should be expected. The work will begin at 7:15 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Additional information is available at the MBTA web site, mbta.com. Updates will also be on station message boards and from train crews.
