On Sunday, March 28, 2010 NJ Photo will be donating time, service and money to the First Annual Pet Faire and we are hoping that you will leash up your pets and join us and the Veterinary Emergency Funding Mission for a day in the sun.

The mission of the Veterinary Emergency Funding Mission (VEFM) is to help out pet owners who are in the unfortunate position of having to choose between inadequate medical treatment or euthanasia for their beloved animal because of inability to pay for life-saving medical emergency care. Along with providing financial assistance whenever possible, the VEFM gives the opportunity for those they help to then help others by becoming mentors, volunteering for VEFM or, when times are better, contribute money to the non-profit organization. The VEFM is working to make everyone aware that it is the responsibility of pet owners, caring individuals and the veterinary community to help make emergency animal medical care available to all animals in need.

The VEFM’s First Annual Pet Faire is a fun-filled event for pets and their owners to participate in games, competitions, a pet parade and a costume contest. There are also demonstrations scheduled throughout the day including AKC-sanctioned obedience training and a plethora of vendors will be staffing booths to answer your questions about your pet’s general well-being and happiness. NJ Photo of Middleboro, Massachusetts will be one of the vendors supporting this worthwhile cause. NJ Photo will be donating five of their nature prints and a $25 NJ Photo gift card to be given away in the Pet Faire’s raffle. We will also have an area setup at the Faire to take professional pictures of your pets and will be donating half of the proceeds from the pet photo sessions to VEFM in Bourne, Massachusetts.

The VEFM’s Pet Faire is scheduled for March 28, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at The Dog Paddle (160 MacArthur Boulevard in Bourne). Leash up the dog, gussy up your cat and prep your other pets and join NJ Photo in supporting this terrific organization. We’ll see you there!
