Police will be patrolling house parties and monitoring ID checks at liquor stores to crack down on underage drinking this summer. Officers have teamed up with Middleboro Youth Advocates to send a strong message to the community that underage drinking is unacceptable. The partners aim to reduce underage drinking and over the summer will be on party patrol and perform compliance checks at the town’s 30 package stores, bars and restaurants that serve alcohol.
