Middleboro Town Hall is hemorrhaging money through inefficient power use, according to a town group committed to energy efficiency. Jeffery Stevens, chairman of the town’s Green Energy Committee, presented the selectmen last week with a 21-page report detailing Town Hall’s energy use. He also suggested ways to cut Town Hall’s energy costs by $12,000 a year, for a one-time expense of about $10,000. “There are things you can’t ignore; it’s just getting worse,” he said.
